Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December, 1991. He is the son of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. He is the son of an Nigerian father and a Caucasian mom. James graduated in 2010 at Sanderson High School. In 2015, he earned the Bachelor of Economics degree from Wake Forest University. James was famous after he appeared on The Bachelorette as a reality TV celebrity. In 2020, he was chosen to play the role of bachelor in season 25 becoming one of the very initial African American male lead which was later aired in 2021. James is the perfect fit for this role as he's tall, handsome and humorous. Rachael Krakconnell was the one was his partner through the remainder of the season. He teamed up with famous dancer Arnold to take part in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold were 12th in the show.
