Alicia Malone

Alicia was hired for FilmStruck which is the TCM streaming service in 2015. Robert Osborne and Ben Mankiewicz's introductions were recorded by Malone for the purpose of practicing speaking them out loud in front of cameras prior to her TCM broadcast channel hosting audition. After being interviewed in the race for a Turner Classic Movies host position in 2017, the network gave her the job within the month of January, following her audition. Malone has spoken about the challenges faced by women in the film industry in two separate TEDx talk. Maree has also made appearances on several other programs including the Today program on NPR's The Movies documentary series MSNBC Access Hollywood E! Entertainment Tonight MTV 2019 Live from the Red Carpet Oscar show, and ABC. She also developed and hosted for the YouTube program Indie Movie Guide for Fandango.
